Whitney was finishing up his residency and Bridget wanted to make sure they sold their condo and were able to buy a house in Oregon. She listed it early and it sold really quickly. She called and said, 'Our house is closing at the beginning of April, can the kids and I come live with you for two months?' Don and I were excited to have them come for an extended stay. We rented a storage unit, moved a few things to it and set up a baby bed in Bridget's old room. When all was as ready as could be, I flew up to Pennsylvania to drive down with Bridget and the kids. The pictures posted here are from our farewell the morning we left and a few from the drive to Texas. We took three days - the first day was long and then two shorter days in which we stopped to see family in Mississippi (Larry and Pam at their cabin) and Louisiana.
